What are the advantages of La Tania ?

Firstly, the prices ! People focus in general on the prices of the lodgings, and they forget more or less to check anything else. La Tania is located in one of the most extraordinary alpine sky resort in Europe. It was developed for the Winter Olympic Games of 1992. That mention would be enough to discourage any family with average incomes. But the trick resides in the fact that La Tania is not at a very high altitude, just 1400 meters. Meaning the most expensive lodgings for the area will be located much higher, like at Meribel and Courchevel. But there is a good reason if they are more expensive, it is attracting the best skiers.  Even thus, when in residence in La Tania, it is very easy to reach the ski slopes of the three Valleys, through a network of 600 kilometers of interconnected pists ! So, why La Tania can correspond to more modest budgets ? There are several strong features to do so :

• it is lesser known than the stars of the ski resorts, like Courchevel and Meribel
• there are facilities for whole beginners and small children

La Tania is also thought and designed to attract people with families. For example, cars are not allowed in the center of the ski resort. This is wonderful because it means clearly no pollution. Also, for children of a certain age, the possibility to be autonomous. The other incredible characteristics and which is not found anywhere, is the possibility to go on the slopes directly from the lodgings. Still, there are free buses to move around. When coming from abroad, it is possible to use the network of express trains or to reach by car, the motorways are in very good conditions. The reasonable altitude implies that for drivers just used to drive in plains, the mountains will not become an issue. The hair-pin turns are situated to drive higher than La Tania, and then it is possible to go by bus or to place oneself in the safe hands of the expert driving of a taxi. If you contemplate to fly, it will be possible to find a very good opportunity from any companies, there are in total five airports in the vicinity.
